non-fiction film club
The Non-Fiction Film Club
is an initiative started by Christine Seow to bring together Singaporean creatives interested in documentary filmmaking and non-fiction storytelling.
The club is a space to watch and discuss documentary films — exploring storytelling, craft, ethics, and form.
Through regular sessions, members engage in thoughtful conversations about how documentaries are made, and the many ways real-life stories can be shaped and told.
At its core, the club aims to build a small but meaningful community of filmmakers, artists, and curious minds — a space to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and deepen our appreciation for documentary cinema.

The Beginning!
I’m starting a Non-Fiction Film Club — a space for creatives in Singapore who are interested in documentary filmmaking to watch and discuss films together. Think of it like a book club for documentaries.
It’s really just an attempt to give a small part of what I’ve learnt and experienced back to the place I call home, and hopefully build a stronger community of doc-makers and documentary lovers who can share, learn, and appreciate this craft together.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, please fill in the form below: https://forms.gle/8RVLmwYaNH719f5c8
Sessions will be once a month online, starting on 30 Mar, 8pm (SGT).
Would love to see where this goes 🤍
